For even greater versatility, an optional electrically driven scoring unit with a Ø 120 mm blade can be used in combination with a Ø 350 mm main saw blade—ensuring smooth, tear-free cuts.
A tilting saw blade unit and precision double-guiding system for accurate angle and height adjustments, the K 740 S sets a new standard for efficiency. The solid outrigger tables, available on both the Professional and S models, provide superior support for handling large panels with ease. 'X-Roll' sliding table
The continuously developed linear guiding system from Felder has been astounding woodworkers since 1990. The high quality sliding table guiding technology, 'X-Roll,' offers amazing operating smoothness and is completely maintenance free. The 'x' design of the position of the roller bearings ensures that they move smoothly along hardened guides.
'Easy-Glide' system
A highly robust synthetic material located in the guidance track of the tilting brackets ensures they run smoothly, and are maintenance free even under the most extreme conditions. The tilt guide segment runs without lubrication and is insensitive to dust.
Advanced circular saw unit
The advanced circular saw unit with the patented tilt segment "Easy-Glide" impresses with a cutting height of 140 mm when using a Ø 400 mm saw blade. The electric scoring unit for scoring blades with a diameter of 120 mm can be used in combination with a Ø 350 mm saw blade.
