The new flagship saw from Felder features an all new 15" Format-4 'smartouch' control system and new double-pivoting saw unit for a perfect harmony of ergonomics and versatility.
The overhead smartouch (x-motion) controller allows easy access at every working position and offers:
- Electronic positioning of the saw blade height
- Electronic control of the saw blade angle
- Motorised positioning of the rip fence
- Safety: Automatic rip fence stop on workpiece jam and a safety buffer zone within 150mm of the sawblade
The "X-Roll" precision sliding table will carry maximum load weights without compromising the smooth and accurate stroke of the sliding table while also minimising any wear and tear and continuously clearing the tracks of any dust through the 12-point dust control system.
Heavy cast-iron "Easy-Glide" tilting trunnions provide the smoothest and play-free tilt on the market and require absolutely no lubrication ensuring the positioning motors are never overworked as well as perfect precision every time.

X-Roll sliding table

Easy-Glide tilting segments
The patented "Easy-Glide" allows tolerance free tilting and is completely maintenance free! The solid cast-iron, double-sided support precisely guides the blade to the angle required. The special synthetic material originally used within the aerospace sector is situated in the guideway of the segment and is unaffected by dust. With a 6-year factory warranty, this Felder component offers reliability for many years!
