This premium saw combines the top of the line Format-4 Kappa control systems with the more affordable Felder range to allow every workshop the ability to own a high-class electronic panel saw that provides superb precison for many years.
The overhead x-motion touch-screen controller allows easy access at every working position and offers:

- electronic control of the saw blade angle

Felder Saw Unit "133"
The cast-iron saw unit offers power, precision, smoothness and efficiency. The single cast aggregate from solid cast-iron ensures no weaknesses due to welding joints for reliability and strength. The dovetail guidance of the height adjustment gives perfectly precise results every time. Advanced Poly-V belts allow optimal power transfer from the motor to the blade without slippage.
Circular saw shaft
The saw arbor is enclosed in a massive cast iron housing while the double bearing mounts ensures vibration free machining. Maximum power transfer from the motor is secured through the use of advanced Poly-V belts
Easy-Glide tilting segments
The patented "Easy-Glide" allows tolerance free tilting and is completely maintenance free! The solid cast-iron, double-sided support precisely guides the blade to the angle required. The special synthetic material originally used within the aerospace sector is situated in the guideway of the segment and is unaffected by dust. With a 6-year factory warranty, this Felder component offers reliability for many years!
Electronic rip fence
The rip fence is controlled electronically from the overhead controller and is adjusted via a CNC-driven motor along a precision ball-screw which is accurate to 0.1mm. Combined with the high positioning speed, your K940 guarantees unrivaled accuracy, efficiency and reliability. Safety: the x-motion controller automatically detects any workpiece jams when moving the fence and will stop all movement and retreat the fence to clear the jam.
Touch-screen x-motion controller
The 5.7" (145mm) TFT touch-screen controller is located at eye level and can be swiveled to any working position, as well as completely out of the way. Simple CNC-drive control of the blade height, blade angle and rip fence position is performed simultaneously. Display of the cutting speed and metric or imperial unit settings. Storage for up to 99 blades and in-built programs such as row grooving. An extremely intuitive and powerful controller that is easy to learn.
X-Roll sliding table
The "X-Roll" sliding table: astounding woodworkers since 1990. The high quality sliding table with 13 chambers guarantees strength and torsional rigidity for heavy loads. The unique design of the "X-Roll" bearings ensure they roll smoothly for the life of the saw. The 12-point dust protection system removes all dust keeping the system maintenance free. Remote start switches
The remote start switches on the end of the sliding table allow the machine to be started without needing to climb underneath large panels
Felder overhead guard
The new Felder overhead guard guarantees safety and flexibility. The height of the guard can be adjusted easily and the guard can be swung away completely from the working area.
Felder outrigger and crosscut fence
The massive support area of the heavily constructed outrigger table supports large panels and other heavy workpieces. The outrigger table can be positioned along the length of the sliding table. The crosscut fence is bevelled towards the user for ergonomic reading and can be quickly moved between the front and rear of the outrigger table for both panel and solid timber processing.
Electronic scoring unit
The scoring unit has a separate 1.5HP motor that can work independently from the main motor for maximum versatility.
