NZ's biggest woodworking trade show got off to an excellent start as Kiwi joiners made the most of an opportunity to see the latest technology up close as Jacks' Auckland showroom. The Governor of the Reserve Bank lowering the OCR by .25% on day one of the show only added to the sense of optimism that's building in the market!

The first day of the show was bustling, with visitors treated to live demonstrations from the latest KDT edgebanders, including their new genuine laser edgebander. Also running were several CNC machines including a full cell with labelling, infeed and outfeed; the series 2 entry-level CNC, and Felder's 5-axis machine running Jacks' unique PHD programme for pre-hung doors.

Other technology on display includes Felder's Kappa 550 saw with PCS safety system; FIMAL's Concept Plus combing the versatility of a panel saw with a beamsaw; Weinig's C50+ with Easystop for maximium safety and efficineicy when cross-cutting, and the latest machine from OMAL for drililng and inserting for Peanut connectors.

There are host of other machines on display including edgebanders, saws, extractors, and all the traditional machinery you'd expect to find at Jacks. 

Also onsite are industry partners for hardware, software, consumables and specialist tools. These include Cabinet Vision, Blum,Microvellum, PRO100, Mozaik, Enko, Htuchko, Rehau, Ducts R Us, Kantek, Laminex and Robertson & Sinclair. Topping it off, Piranha Tools has a wide selection of tools for fine woodworking available for purchase on site.
